In a significant step towards enhancing its educational offerings and preparing students for the digital age, Southwestern College of Maritime, Business, and Technology recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with several prestigious IT companies and organizations. These partnerships signify the institution's commitment to providing cutting-edge education and fostering industry-relevant skills in the fields of Digital Arts and Information Systems. The participating companies include Wacom, IP Solutions, First Data Corp - Adobe, Rujie Networks, and PSITE MIMAROPA. The partnership was initiated through the assistance of Dr. Neil P. Balba, the PSITE National Trustee and International and Local Consultant for IT. He is also an icon for IT in the Philippines and other countries.

The Digital Arts and Information Systems Program:

Southwestern College's forthcoming Digital Arts and Information Systems program is designed to empower students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the dynamic and rapidly evolving tech industry. This program will offer a comprehensive curriculum that covers various aspects of digital arts, including graphic design, multimedia production, animation, and interactive media.
